Dr Claudine Pang

Dr Claudine Pang is the consultant ophthalmologist of Asia Retina. In 2004, she finished her Double Bachelor in Medicine and Surgery from the National University of Singapore where she was given a Gold Medal and Distinction in Medical Ethics. She got her post-graduate degrees in Opthalmology during her 8 years of service at the Singapore National Eye Centre.

She was the very first female doctor to receive no other than the University of British Columbia's William H. Ross Surgical Vitreoretinal Fellowship. That and a whole lot more of distinct awards plus experience as an ophthalmologist for over 15 years has made Dr Pang one of the best cataract specialists in Singapore. Her strong point, aside from cataract surgery, includes macular surgery (age-related macular degeneration), myopia treatment, as well as retinal detachment procedures. Angela Tang

Valerie Chen

Valerie Chen is an imaging specialist and head optometrist at the clinic. She has 5 years of experience with optometry and is particularly skilled in ophthalmic imaging. She has the ability to achieve detailed eye images, even ones that are very complicated.

Optos Daytona

This ultra-wide field innovative equipment can capture 200-degrees or 82% view of the retina in one image in less than 0.5 seconds. The ordinary retinal photograph only captures 15% of the retina which is way below the ultra-modern Optos Daytona.

Heidelberg Spectralis

To provide vital diagnostic information regarding glaucoma, cornea, and retinal diseases, the Heidelberg Spectralis can do so. This high-resolution and non-invasive imaging system can show the microscopic information of the retina like retinal histology.

Galilei Analyzer

The Galilei Analyzer combines Dual- Scheimpflug tomography and complex technology as that of Placido topography to give an all-encompassing solution for refractive surgery planning and cataract.

Iridex Micropulse Laser

For glaucoma and retinal diseases treatments, the Iridex Micropulse Laser, which is currently used in Asia Retina, can do it in a non-damaging laser method. This doesn’t cause any coagulative damage or damage to the eye.

Ellex Tango Reflex Laser

Community Work

Asia Retina Eye Surgery Centre makes it a point to give back to the underprivileged as well. They have conducted mission trips to some of the poorest communities where there is no medical access to eye care to give free comprehensive eye screening exams.
